Susan ConstableSusan has spent most of her life on Canada's west coast. Following graduation from university, she and her husband taught in Ghana, West Africa, for 18 months. After returning to BC, she stayed home to raise their family. When Susan resumed her career, she moved from teaching primary school children to teaching adults who were studying for their grade twelve matriculation in the college system. In 1983, the family moved to Vancouver Island, owning and operating numerous retail businesses including a restaurant, travel agency, and pet store. She's been retired since 1994 and is incredibly grateful to have the free time and good health to really enjoy life. |
