Anna Lemos

Anna Lemos also known as Anna Matos e Lemos has written two books of poetry: "La morte e la minestra" in Italian language and Oblaka a bilingual book (english/italian). She recently completed and published her first novel: THE BODY AND THE SEA in Italy by Edizioni e/o in May 2006 and soon to be published in the U.S, by Europa Editions

Her poetry has appeared in several publications and magazines in Italy: "L’immaginazione", "Nuovi Argomenti", "Quaderni 1.'03) del Fondo Moravia", "Labirinti del Fantastico" - and in the anthologies "L’arme, gli amori" and l’Antologia del L.A.R.P.

Anna is also a web designer and editor and has worked in assisting the Poet Marcia Theophilo, a Nobel Prize candidate. She studied Political Science at the University of Rome and worked as a correspondent for a Portuguese Agency. She is fluent in Italian, Portuguese and English. She currently resides in Rome.
