Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll [Charles Lutwidge Dodgson] was born in England and educated at Oxford. He later served there as a professor of mathematics. Carroll is better known as the famous writer of children's stories: "Alices' Adventure in Wonderland," and other works, ie, "Through the Looking Glass," "Jabberwocky," "Walrus and The Carpenter," and many other witty verses.
