Next Saturday before Christmas
let's go to a small village
in New Brunswick,
take a sleigh ride through
the old growth forest,
huddle together
under thick blankets,
wrap arms around
each other's torso,
sip thermoses of hot chocolate,
look at the evergreen trees
covered with snow,
spot the rabbits running
along cedar fences,
and near the end of the ride
tell the old
white haired man up front
to please stop for a bit
so we can feed the horses
two squares of coarse sugar.

- Chris Lindsay

"The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious - the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science."
