The Moon and the Cat Print E-mail
(1 vote)

The pouncing of cat
upon innocent breeze
goofed it all.
The ogling moon was
all but eclipsed.
It had awaited though
alighting on a mysterious lake
that aspired to be ploughed
by some magic oar.
Hadn't the lake humm'd
an intriguing note
rendering the shore breathless?
But even as the moon alighted
quietly to stride upon placid waters,
it froze his feet.
And that should remind you
the cat is a tiger too!

"Poetry is my first love. I think it can touch souls more powerfully in fewer words than any other form of the written word."
