The Accounting Print E-mail
(0 votes)

When I was but a little lad
upon my Mother's knee,
She said look up into my eyes
and heed these words from me.

Your father was a noble man;
your Mother loved him so.
He was a kind and gentle man,
like someday you will grow.

But, as the years pass on in score,
you must not ever fail,
To always keep within your heart
the others weak and frail.

Remember as you walk life's
path that many you will meet,
Who tho less fortunate than you,
are not beneath your feet.

You must keep this a present thought,
for someday you will see,
Your Father will expect of you
an accounting, formally.
