We practice logic and observe,
So in wisdom we can see,
How things really are,
And how they're meant to be.

If you plough a straight line,
Your always in a rut,
But the sooner you fall behind,
The more time you have to catch up.

If life is a bumpy excursion,
Then you've been truly blessed,
For only a mediocre person,
Is always at their best.

Mankind has chosen the abyss,
And has to be repented,
For truth already exists,
But falsehood has to be invented.

My thanks to Mr. Murphy,
For defining anything lost,
That it will be found again,
Just after the replacement cost.

We know that our mistakes,
Will continue to be news,
For there is plenty of them,
That haven't yet been used.

Facts obey the truth,
And people what's desirable,
Facts are stubborn,
Statistics are more pliable.

Honesty is the best policy,
But insanity a better defence,
And yet behind every argument,
Is someone's ignorance.

The longest journey,
Begins with a single step,
And soon for a sailor,
Ends when thoroughly wet.

Friends may come and go,
But enemies accumulate.
According to the obituary notices,
Mean people never terminate.

A leader is up front you'll find,
And it's obvious to see,
A pusher must keep up behind,
Where else could a pusher be?

If genius we all are,
Then equally foolish are we.
So that genius could exist,
Fools are meant to be.

You can believe that you caught her,
That it was you that made her wink.
You can lead a man to slaughter,
But you can't make him think.

What passes for women's intuition,
Isn't a potential to forsee,
But often simply put,
It's man's transparency.

A stitch in time may save you nine,
But it's with certainty,
You can't kill time,
Without injuring eternity.

You can't blame a system,
There's a fool born every minute.
An idea is not responsible,
For those who believe in it.

If you try to make an impression,
That's the impression you will make.
Due to circumstances beyond your control,
You are master of your fate.

It can help to remind,
If for you it seems vague,
To use clichés all the time,
But I avoid them like the plague.

Truth stranger than fiction,
Trust me, I've a high Q.I.
Or may I be struck with the affliction;
Health: the slowest way to die.
