Third Head of Janus Print E-mail

Between now and later
The sunset of today
And the sunrise of tomorrow

Between memory and expectation
Relics of the wind
And light strokes of the wind

Between silence and noise
The flower waning in the vase
And the enticing flower to be bought

Between statement and regret
The pain of the written word
And the pleasure of the read one

I find myself as ever
Like the third head
Janus never had —

Between the gone
And the eve
