C.R. Mittal - Review by Minerva Bloom Print E-mail

Reading CR Mittal's Poetry for the first time, felt like witnessing the discovery of a miracle: I was filled with awe and luminosity. The act of moving along each poem was like a ceremony. I didn't want it to end...

Mittal writes with an expansive range of sensitivities, bestowed on him by his devotion, study and love for poetry. He chisels with care and utmost respect, into the soul of each poem, and gifts to us images, deep and complex, vigorous and arresting, elegant and exquisite, lighthearted and playful, human and at the same time: universal. A truly brilliant poet.
