so you’ve seen my writing
on my website or someone else’s
and think to yourself
“This is better than anything
I could have done myself.
I’ll just borrow it;
attach my name.
It’s my word against theirs.”

bastard
coward
thief

in a face to face battle
you, my friend, would lose
but it’s the internet
not the real world
so take it
pass it off as your own

but I will challenge you

come to me and we will
have a write-off
I’ll compose a piece in
thirty minutes that would
take an incompetent
jack-ass like yourself
a lifetime to write

as you steal my life’s
work, accumulate
unworthy accolades
remember this:

you can never have
my talent
but if I saw you on the street
I would have you for lunch.
