Start small. Keep your head
down until you’re prepared to handle
some wicked confrontation.

There’s safety in numbers
and sharp weapons.

Live on less. With little food, water
or attention, you’ll thrive. Rest in the winter;
save your energy for spring.

No one cares what colour you wear;
if you look good in green, stick with it.

Try being quiet. Everything important
can be accomplished in silence
as long as you stand your ground.

Make love frequently.
It’s the only recipe for survival.
