Drip, drip, drip
Icicles release themselves
Reducing their stability
To chart a different course
Adventure awaits the water drop
Free-falling to the ground
Surrounded by its kin
As gravity takes the reigns
Seeping into the pores of the soil
Exploring the dark alleys and corners
Not seeing the way, but moving onward
Experiencing the sensation of a greater force
Guiding, directing, leading
To the underground abyss
A place of warmth we assume
So different from the cold above
But that is only one beginning
As the journey may go full circle
One release leading to another adventure
Drip, drip, drip
