I see my better self dancing in the dawn
Feet glistening with the morning dew
Wet with the water of potential
Body free of fear and doubt
Absolute grace through confidence
Resounding joy in the purity of being
Rhythms of wonder of mystery
Moving to the energy of flow
Kissing the wayward breath of truth
Bestilled by naught but by attention
Attention to the feeling of courage
Attention to the freedom of choice
Attention to the beauty of surroundings
Inward and outward
Past and present
The moment reverberates with peace
for peace is of love
for love is of life
for life is of living
for living is of acknowledgement
and acknowledgment is wrought by paying attention
When I feel myself dancing in the dawn
