The cool summer breeze
Whispers over my skin
Tickling the sensors to life
A surge moves through to my core
The spirit within is aroused
and a smile grows upon my face
Bare feet surrender to the dew-laden grass
as my legs stretch and dance
Fingertips stretch to the fragrant bloom
Take me, take me in
July
Clouds play hide and seek with the
simmering sun and sultry sky
Birds flit in and out of voluptuous trees
Butterflies flutter past my shaded eyes
Crickets and ants scurry from my path
Cicadas sing of the good news
Enough rain for the growth
Enough dry for the breath
Balmy breezes interspersed with cool
Take me, take me away
July
Whisper over my skin
Arouse the spirit within
