Featured Poet
Ryan Daniels
British Columbia, Canada
Ryan Daniels happily grew up with his two sisters Brandi and Cheri in Harrison Hot Springs BC Canada as a Bahai, enjoying basketball from elementary through to junior high and building strong friendships. At the age of 17, he worked part time at a renown hotel in their formal dinning room - there, he won hospitality achievements working alongside the best in the profession. Soon after senior high he moved on to Victoria BC Canada to resume his education. Unfortunately, and shortly after his arrival, Ryan encountered a serious illness; this is reflected in some of his poems in his book such as "Unexpected Battle."
During his recovery, Ryan started writing words of inspiration and rhymes, he says; "which became a significant outlet for me to express my spiritual side of my character". With the love and support he received from his community, family and friends - he has now come to publish his selected works of cheerful and sentimental poems. Working along side him as a duo, his mother, who is the artist behind the poetry display. Starting out as a family project Treasured Portaits one of uplifting poems and artistry working together celebrating the arts, has now come to be published in this format and the actual size chosen for the book is 7" by 10" inches for a visual treat.
With the love and support of his community, family, and friends for the past two years - he has now come to publish his selected works into a book: "Treasured Portraits Visual Poetry Of Infinite Possibilities" is now available: http://ryandaniels.net/
~"One can witness his soul into each poem with delicate sensitivity and optimism for a better universe which offer infinite possibilities. Daniels conveys his profound feelings against a blend of background imagery. " Jocelyne ~
