The Cold Print E-mail

A cold is a blessing I'm here to tell,
It makes you appreciate when you are well
Your head swells up, and near comes to a boil,
Friends scatter afar, except for the loyal.

Your eyes are a blur with ears nearly deaf,
Your nose is so red Even Santa, He left.
But blessings abound when misery sets in,
No need for excuses, you lounge without sin.

To read a book, or just watch the telly,
Or have a nice nap and lay on your belly.
Just sit and cheer as the mariners run bases,
Yes Blessings they dwell in the funniest places.
