Underneath the trees hands extended
the leaves had been terribly befriended.
An acorn tumbles down to kiss the ground
in the forest of love filled with beautiful sounds.
The birds fly by, spreading their wings
atop the Oaks the robins and blue-jay sings.

On the crest of the forest sits a young girl
fiddling with the grass and her hair filled with curls.
A faint smile, perhaps a grin on her face
takes in the humming and love of this place.
She swirls around in her fine white gown
the one her daddy brought back from his trip into town.
The ribbons dance with the rythym of the wind
and her feet touch the earth, then dance with their friend.

She beams a smile as a grasshopper bounces by
her heart has never been torn by a guy.
Innocent and pure twinkles through her eyes
a purity so true belonging in lullabies.

A man sits on the other sides crest
the perfect shoulder for her head to rest.
He's everything she wants and so much more
awaiting his true love to pass through the door.
Somewhere, someday, in the forest they'll meet
and they will open their hearts, making their love complete.
Something's wrong because things are too right
they must fall in love tonight.
She loves him so, as does he
needing one special night to set the souls free.
