For thirty-seven years, I've had a friend, Who has given my happiness, no end. She is the mother of my offspring, Joy to both of us they do bring. For thirty-seven years, She's been my lover, For sure there's not much to discover. And all this time she's been a fishing buddy, Even though she calls all my fish "Stubby". For thirty-seven years she's been my companion, From the highest peak, to the deepest canyon. She is my good reason to keep on living, For all the love she keeps giving. I looked long and hard for a woman for me, Till she found me and decided a husband I should be. For thirty seven years of joy and strife, Thank God Almighty for giving me such a wife. - Richard (Pard) Adsitt
