In the midst of a forgotten wood
Where time stood still to save it
Moonlight's strands of silver lace
Could barely penetrate it

Interwoven branches of green
in the heart of a peaceful wind
Nature's finest work of art
Untouched, unspoiled by man

The solemn soul of lucidity
and all that lies within
transcends the rainforest's beauty
and the lifeforce of every man

Lost in a sweeping moment
Destroyed by progress and demand
Without knowledge or remorse
'tis the beginning of the end

For in the midst of a forgotten wood
Where time couldn't stop to save it
Moonlight's strands of silver lace
shall never penetrate it...

"...save our rainforests....they're our doorway
to our future..."

"A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."
