The Moon Print E-mail

as we glance up to the night sky
we see the round moon silently spy
it watches over us with one stare
as we see the shadow in it's glare

sitting in the clouds way overhead
as we all our sleeping in our beds
radiant glimmer and brilliant rings
surround the stars which begin to sing

vanishing into the new morning light
no longer in the presence of its sight
gone until evening takes over at nine
the moon patiently waits to then shine
