Thunderous life beats in my chest
Within this stormy world of mine,
I dance alone across moonlit night
Where stars are passing time.

Worthy plays for only me to see
One show only within my mind,
Emotions collide in sweet memory
To place polish on the shine.

A lovers arms in gentle embrace
We've all been here before,
Conjured pain burning past away
And like the Phoenix soar.

Each sunset I praise the sky above
For the promise of new light,
This enchantment is for all to own
With dreams to share the night.

In wondrous awe I play my part
To stoke the fires so serene,
A bit player in this magic show
Content within my scene.
